Anna Holloway is the October Student of the Month. She is the daughter of Pat & Kari Holloway. Anna is a senior with a 3.9 GPA. Her favorite classes include English, History and Intro to Education, because of the fun concepts covered, and they are all things she enjoys learning about. Anna has been involved in Best Buddies, FCA, Volleyball, Golf, Student Council, FFA, NHS, and Key Club throughout high school. “My advice to others about being successful is to always try your best, because it pays off.” Anna has been a volunteer at church, Meals From the Heartland, and various school sponsored events. When asked what being Student of the Month means to her, Anna said, “I have worked pretty hard in all of my years of high school, and academics mean a lot to me.” After high school, Anna plans to attend the University of South Dakota to major in Communication Disorders and Sciences. In recognition of her achievements, Raccoon Valley Bank has donated $100 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation.

May People of the Month
Aiden Lippencott is the son of Erica and Delaun Lippencott. He has a 3.9 GPA and his favorite classes are Athletic Enhancement, Financial Literacy, and Band. He says he enjoys Athletic Enhancement as it gives him a break from learning in a classroom. Lippencott is involved in track and field, and band. Through these he has learned how to be a leader and work as a team. Lippencott volunteers once a month at his church, and he is planning to attend Evangel University and major in business analytics. When asked what advice he would give to others about success in school and in life he said “I’d say learn how to work with people, it really helps because you can have them help you, and you can help them and it's just good to know how to talk to and work with people.” When asked what being student of the month means to him and he said that it shows his hard work and leadership is paying off. In honor of his achievements Racoon Valley Bank is donating $100 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation.

The Student of the Month in November in Brenna Seidl. Her parents are Chris and Jacque Seidl. She has a 3.89 GPA. Seidl’s favorite three classes from high school are Intro to Ed, because it matches with what she wants to do after high school; English III, because she likes the Great Gatsby; and Culinary because it was really fun. She is involved in Cross Country, Soccer, Speech, NHS, Humanitarian Chord and Student Council. These activities have taught her leadership, and helped her grow connections with people she wasn’t initially friends with. Seidl also volunteers at her church. Next fall, Seidl plans to attend UNI and major in elementary education. Her advice to others about how to succeed in school and life is to be kind—you never know what other people are going through. Being named Student of the Month is a big honor to Seidl. She feels recognized for all the work she’s put into the school for the past four years. She thinks she’s been recognised because of all the work she’s put into the school through student council, and because she holds a lot of leadership positions and is involved in a diverse group of activities. In honor of her achievements, Raccoon Valley Bank has donated $100 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation.

Rhyan Miller is the April student of the month. Miller is the daughter of Charity and Rich Miller, and has maintained a 3.925 GPA. Her three favorite classes in high school have been drama as literature, Prostart II, and news journalism. Miller participates in cross country, theater, individual and large group speech, the prostart team, student council, NHS, silver cord, and track. She feels that her experiences in those activities have made her more extroverted, sharing that she is "not afraid of [her] own voice anymore." Miller plans to attend Winona State University to major in psychology and minor in political science. Her advice to others is to "Fake it 'till you make it." She feels she was selected as student of the month due to her increased active presence in the classroom. She is also thankful for the good parking spot. In honor of her achievements, Raccoon Valley Bank has donated $100 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation.

April People of the Month
Haley Perry is a senior at ADM High School. She was chosen as the March Student of the Month. She is the daughter of Jessie and Bret Perry. Haley has a 4.0 GPA, and is extremely involved in many activities. She participates in band, speech, and theater. She has learned the importance of practicing, that always doing your best and working hard pays off, and that speaking up is so important. Some of her favorite classes are Creative writing, Art, and AP Lit. She plans on attending Iowa State in the fall, and will be majoring in english and education and minoring in art and theatrical production. Her best piece of advice to other students is to always try your best, and to remember that stress is temporary. She believes she was honored with this title because she always strives to help others, and she is a passionate believer in being herself and working hard.

Austin Conner is the February Student Citizen of the Month. He is the son of Heidi and Jeremy Conner, and is a senior this year. Conner has received a coin given by Blue Kindness and the Adel Police Department that identifies many aspects of citizenship including: respect, responsibility, dependability, caring, honesty, and character. Conner believes he exemplifies those traits by “respecting other people and not interrupting teachers or class.” To him, being a Student Citizen of the Month is an honor. Conner believes he was selected because he does what he is told, and does not talk back to anyone.
