March Fine Arts Student of the Month: Payton Taylor

March+Fine+Arts+Student+of+the+Month%3A+Payton+Taylor

March 2024 Fine Arts Student of the Month is Payton Taylor. She is a junior and the daughter of Lindsay and Mike Taylor. She has been recognized more for her involvement in many fine arts activities, including group speech Readers Theater, which made it to All-State, and group improv, which made it to state. She is also involved in individual speech where she is in the Lit Program and has so far made it to state.

Taylor has learned good speaking skills, not being afraid to speak in front of a crowd, voice projection, and many more things throughout the speech. She believes that speech is a great opportunity to go to fun competitions and make new friends.

Taylor is honored to be Fine Arts Student of the Month. “It shows that all of my hard work during group and individual is paying off and that others are recognizing it,” she said. She believes that she is being honored because of all of the hard work she has put into the speech team.

“Just showing that I am committed to getting better is one reason. Another reason that I believe that I was chosen was because of the success that I have encountered,” Taylor said when asked why she believed she was chosen for Fine Arts Student of the Month.
