Junior Keegan Holdmeyer has been selected as the January 2024 Fine Arts Student of the Month. He is the son of Eric and Amanda Holdmeyer. Holdmeyer has been involved in marching band, concert band, varsity jazz band, SCIBA, Racoon River Conference honor band, and solo contest. He is also involved in cross country, and track. He has learned that with practice and hard work comes great success in reaching his goals.

Holdmeyer has held many important leadership roles including marching/concert band section leader and lead jazz player. He believes participating in these activities allows people to get involved and make new friends. He said, “The atmosphere is like no other, we are like a family here to make some music.”

Holdmeyer believes he was chosen for Fine Arts Student of the Month because of his participation with every band along with encouraging the rest of the band to practice and strive to reach their goals. He thinks it is an honor to be chosen and is very grateful.

In honor of Holdmeyer’s achievements, Lincoln Savings Bank has donated $100 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation.
