Delaney Kahler finishes out her round on hole 8 at River Valley Golf Course.

Delaney Kahler, the daughter of Curt and Amy Kahler, is the April Girls Golf Athlete of the Month. Kahler is a Senior and has been playing golf since middle school, but has been a part of the ADM golf team for four consecutive years.

“I always say I hate the unpredictability [of golf] but I think that’s one thing that I really love about the sport. I can go in thinking I’m going to have a terrible round and then shoot my PR,” Kahler said.

Kahler said she feels good about being the Girls Golf Athlete of the Month because she has been on the team since freshman year and has worked hard. She says it helps her overall confidence in her skills to know she’s being recognized by her coaches. Kahler feels she has been honored with this title because of her constant work and progress on and off the course. “I’m very much a go-getter type of person. I wanted to get better, so I did,” she said.

In recognition of her achievements Azalea Lane Boutique has donated $100 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation.
