Cash is one of January’s Fine Arts Student of the Month, in recognition of his involvement in choir. He is a junior and the son of Kristi and Chris Riker. Besides choir, Cash is also involved in band and Speech. With these activities, Riker said, “They have taught me how to grow as a musician and as a person.”

The different positions Cash has held in his Fine Art activities are Band Council, Jazz Band and Jazz Choir.

Riker believes that people should join and participate in these Fine Art activities because “It’s nice to express yourself with a nice group of people.”

Being a Fine Arts Student of the Month is a way to get recognized for all the hard work you do for activities that aren’t just sports. “It’s nice to be recognized, I have never gotten one before so it feels good,” said Riker.

Riker thinks he has been honored as Fine Arts Student of the Month because “I am cute.”

In honor of his achievements, Lincoln Savings Bank donated $100 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation.
