Kolton Benz was nominated for Football Player of the Game vs. Winterset at home.  He is the son of Dave and Mandy Benz and is a senior this year.

Benz has been playing football all through high school.  He loves the intensity of the game and spending the season with the team.

To Benz, being Athlete of the Month is definitely not something he will take for granted.  It means a lot to him because people are recognizing his hard work.

Benz believes he was honored as Player of the Game because he played as hard as he could and contributed to the team as best as he could.
