Scheduled for November 17 2025, ADM’s National Honor Society (NHS) blood drive takes place. In a long standing partnership with LifeServe, the organization returns in its first drive of the 2025 school year.
NHS students have been hard at work for the event as they have assigned various duties during the drive such as help with check-in and running the canteen. These jobs can be vital in managing scheduling throughout the drive’s runtime and determining student wellness before and after their appointments.
These assignments were assigned directly after this years 2025 NHS inductions, in which over 10 members were brought into the organization. These students go through multiple hoops in order to join including maintaining a high enough G.P.A, requirements in multiple volunteer and leadership categories, and the review of an assigned membership essay.
Alongside their duties on the day, members are also responsible for recruiting a large number of students determined by individual quotas. NHS’s success in this field is truly evident this year as this drive is determined as “Our biggest blood drive since 2021” as said by an involved teacher Mrs. Miller.

In an interview with the NHS advisor Mrs. Miller, she comments on the NHS’s goals for this semester’s drive stating “We’ve already exceeded our previous goal set on previous numbers, right now we have over 100 appointments”.
On the process of working with LifeServe, Ms. Miller works heavily with the organization in the set up phase “What I try to do is work with them to schedule and pick dates that work well around our sports season and what works for them”.
On the day, Ms. Miller is required to assist in almost nothing as the rest is carefully taken care of by Vaughn-Elise Nardini, the NHS president and the many other members who take part in running the multiple shifts throughout the day.
