April’s 2024 teacher of the month is Alex Schnebbe. Schnebbe has taught for 9 years, the last 8 of them being at ADM High School. Schnebbe is very active in the community, as the assistant coach for the ADM Baseball team as well as the assistant Athletic Director for grades 7-12.
Schnebbe says that he enjoys seeing the kids that he works with succeed in things that they struggle with knowing that he’s made an impact on them. When asked why he decided to become a teacher he said, “I had a teacher who was my coach that made a positive impact on my life and I wanted to do that for others.”
Schnebbe said that being named Teacher of the Month feels very rewarding. He is happy to see that students recognize his efforts of building relationships with them.
