January 2024 Student of the Month: Jadah Manning

January+2024+Student+of+the+Month%3A+Jadah+Manning

January’s Student of the Month is Jadah Manning. She is a senior this year and is the daughter of Angie and Matt Helmick.

With a 3.9 GPA, Manning’s three favorite classes from high school are Creative Writing, English 1, and English 3. She enjoys Creative Writing because she learned different styles of literature, and admired English for her past teachers.

Manning has been taught different lessons of strategies for test taking and stopping nervous habits through her experience in speech, Academic Decathlon, and golf, as well as her volunteering at a daycare in her church.

She plans to attend Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa with a major in Early Childhood Education and an enforcement of Special Education. Manning advises others to stay on top of their work and to try their best throughout school. “But don’t forget to not take everything too seriously,” Manning said.

Student of the Month means a lot to Manning because it means her hard work has paid off. She believes she’s been honored for putting in her best work and effort in class.

In recognition of her achievements, Raccoon Valley Bank has donated $100 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation.
