Celie Gardiner is a senior and the daughter of Adam and Amanda Gardiner. Gardiner has been playing basketball since she was 4 years old.

Her favorite part about the team is the family bond she shares with the girls, as well as the memories that they have shared over the years and continue to make each and every year. As for the game, Gardiner appreciates that no two games are the same. Each game has its own challenges that they work to overcome as a team in order to be successful. Using each game to continue to improve as a team and as a “family.”

Gardiner thinks she’s being honored as Basketball Athlete of the Month because she’s stepped into her role as a senior role model well, and her coaches are recognizing her for that reason. It means a lot to her to know that she plays an important role on the team and her hard work is paying off.

In recognition of her achievements, Adel Lions Club is donating $100 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation.
