November Kiwanis Student of the Month: Celia Kreifels
The November Kiwanis Student of the Month is Celia Kreifels. Celia is the Daughter of Brian and Cristin Kreifels and holds a 3.8 GPA. She is involved in NHS, FFA, Track, Youth Group, Humanitarian Cord, Mock Trial, 4-H, Student Council, and was head manager of the Football team for the 2022-2023 season. Celia’s three favorite classes are Algebra 2 because she really enjoys the topic, Intro to Education because she loves the small class environment and enjoys learning how to help others, and lastly Ag entrepreneurship because she get to help organize ag day for the elementary students. She regularly volunteers at Lutheran Church of Hope, and Meadowview Elementary. She plans to attend Iowa State University after Highschool and major in Kinesiology and minor in Business. When asked what her best advice to younger students was she replied with ” Be positive and kind because it gets you a long way.” Being Kiwanis Student of the Month is an honor for Celia, she appreciates it because ” it really shows that the time I spend doing things inside and outside of the school is being recognized.” She feels she has been chosen as Kiwanis Student of the Moth because of the extensive time she spent volunteering and helping during the school year.
In recognition of her achievements the Kiwanis of Adel have donated $50 to the ADM Scholarship foundation.

![Rhyan Miller is the April student of the month. Miller is the daughter of Charity and Rich Miller, and has maintained a 3.925 GPA. Her three favorite classes in high school have been drama as literature, Prostart II, and news journalism. Miller participates in cross country, theater, individual and large group speech, the prostart team, student council, NHS, silver cord, and track. She feels that her experiences in those activities have made her more extroverted, sharing that she is "not afraid of [her] own voice anymore." Miller plans to attend Winona State University to major in psychology and minor in political science. Her advice to others is to "Fake it 'till you make it." She feels she was selected as student of the month due to her increased active presence in the classroom. She is also thankful for the good parking spot.
