Lining up for the 100m dash, Junior Olivia Tollari gears up for her race. Tollari said, “the brisk weather pushed me to run even faster.” She placed second in the race, and earned ADM points in the meet.

Olivia Tollari is the daughter of Sarah and Chris Tollari, and is a junior at ADM. Tollari is a three season athlete, and has been running track for five years. Tollari is a track Captain and uses her leadership role to help teammates, and create a bond with her team.

Tollari has had a very impressive career in running track, and though her, and many other athletes seasons got cut short last year, she believes she is, “on track as of last year, and working to reach more personal records.” Tollari holds a school record for Long Jump and is continuing to improve her skills and hold an even higher title.

When asked what she loves about the team Tollari said, “the team mostly, we are very family based, and it is always a super positive atmosphere with the coaches and my teammates.” She also noted that she was recognized for Athlete of the Month because she is constantly pushing herself and her teammates to be better, and grow as athletes.

Though this year looks a little different with Covid-19, Tollari is very excited to have the outdoor season into full swing. When asked what being an Athlete of the Month meant to her she said, “It’s nice to know that I am being noticed and that I am standing apart in competitions and practice.”

For Tollari’s accomplishment of Athlete of the Month, Adel Family Dentistry is donating $100 to the ADM Scholarship foundation.
