March Student of the Month – Seth Entriken

Seth Entriken is March’s Student of the Month. He is the son of Brenda and Wade Entriken. Seth has a 4.153 GPA and his favorite classes include open campus, lunch, and Medical Interventions. When asked why Medical Interventions is one of his favorite classes he said, “It’s interesting to learn about what makes people the way they are.”

Entriken stays busy by being involved in AcDec, Speech, Theater, Thespians, Student Council, French Honors Society, and NHS. By participating in these activities he has learned, “by working together you get more done,” said Entriken.

He also stays involved outside of school by volunteering at Waukee Food Pantry, Camp Intervention, Meals for the Heartland, Haunted Hallways, Adel Food Pantry, Youth Tournaments, St. Johns, and District Individual Speech.

Entriken plans to go to Iowa State next year and major in Genetics and Computer Science.

To Entriken, being Student of the Month means he gets a free parking spot in front of the school. Also, when asked about why he thinks he has been honored as Student of the Month he said, “because I got nominated.”

His advice to others is “Just try and you’re pretty much better than half the people.”

In his recognition of his achievements, Kiwanis of Adel has donated $50 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation.
