December Kiwanis Student of the Month – Max Fouts

Max Fouts is one of December’s Kiwanis Student of the Month. He is the son of Randy and Jean Fouts. Max has a 4.0 GPA and his favorite classes include open campus, DMACC online, and Spanish. He also enjoys keeping active by being involved with tennis and cross country. By participating in these activities, Max has learned many things about himself.

“Tennis isn’t really a skill I possess and running three miles can sometimes not feel the greatest,” explained Max.

He stays involved outside of school by putting in the time to volunteer at Habitat for Humanity, Booster Club, Haunted Hallways, and some school basketball games.

At the time, Max doesn’t know where he wants to go or what he wants to major in.

Being Kiwanis Student of the Month to Max, “Makes me feel good,” and Max believes he has been honored this award because “I’ve heard all of the twins are getting it,”.

His advice to others is “Listen to others because they probably know more than you.”

In his recognition of his achievements, Kiwanis of Adel has donated $50 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation.
