Lillian Kelley, Reporter
I’m Lillian Kelley, a senior here at ADM. This is my second year on staff, but I’m also involved in cheerleading, Speech, choir, working at an ice cream store, and singing in an alternative band. Outside of these activities, I love to write, play piano, read, and have a good time with my friends and family.
I’m on News staff because I love to write, absorb the news and media around me, take photos to capture stories, and talk to new people. Being on a news staff has made me a more empathetic person, a better student, a consumer of news, and broadened my horizons by putting myself out there to always get the story, take that photo, interview that person, and be there and capture the moment.
Post-graduation, I hope to continue my career as a journalist. I don’t know where I’ll go or where that journey will take me, but I’ve found a love for journalism and it’s my goal to get a scholarship and go to college for it. My biggest goal, however, is to be happy in whatever I do and make the world a better, brighter place, which I think is a good start for an aspiring journalist.
