Hi, I am Kade Overton. I have been going to ADM all my life. I am a Senior in the High school. Growing up in small town Adel has really pulled my life in a lot of different directions. Since the age of four I have fallen in love with sports. Playing football and baseball since I was a little kid. Along this crazy journey I have learned these sports like the back of my hand. With not much more to do I grew up watching a lot of television, but not cartoons like the typical 6 year old kid. I grew up watching ESPN and other sports channels. With all the great opportunities recently I decided that I want to go into broadcasting. Setting out, I want to attend the University of Iowa or the University of Missouri and major in journalism. My dream would easily be getting a job with ESPN as a head anchor or even just being one of their journalists. Taking this news journalism class I hope to get some experience under my belt and help me expand my learning on journalism, hoping I will get more prepared for the future. I hope to inform my classmates and all of our readers what is going on around ADM.
