February Girls Basketball Athlete of the Month: Anna Kenny

Anna Kenny, daughter of Mike and Lynn Kenny is February’s Girls Basketball Athlete of the Month. Kenny is a senior at ADM High School and has been involved in this sport since the 3rd grade.

“I love this sport because I’ve really grown to love being with my teammates and playing the game I’ve played for so long.”

Being Athlete of the Month means that her coaches recognize how much work she’s put into the sport and how much she cares about how well they do. She believes that she is also recognized for caring for her teammates.
Kenny believes that she’s been nominated for Athlete of the Month in basketball because she is a hard worker and works with her teammates well.
In recognition for her efforts, Sumpter Pharmacy is donating $100 to the ADM Scholarship Fund.
