One of the most exciting things about going back to school in the Fall is football season. For the past three years, I’ve been waiting to be able to get a front row seat to watch our football team dominate under the lights. I was so excited to be able to decorate my overalls in my own unique way, ever since I saw the Seniors do it when I was just a Freshman. I love being able to hype up the rest of the student section with cheers and posters, it feels exactly like those cheesy high school movies where the teenagers are going through drastic changes in their lives. I feel like football really brings everyone together, I find myself talking to people who I normally wouldn’t chat with any other day.

I look forward to Fridays every week, I feel like as Seniors we take a lot more pride into dressing up for the themes and going all out with accessories. It’s fun being able to connect with all my peers outside of the classroom. “Being a Senior in the student section is very special to me, it makes me feel much more associated as a person and as a student.” Said Alayna Whitson when asked how it feels to be a Senior in the student section this year.
