January 2023 Wrestling Cheer Athlete of the Month: Addison Kuonen
January’s Wrestling Cheer Athlete of the Month is Addison Kuonen. She is the daughter of Chris and Ashley Kuonen and is a junior this year.
This is Kuonen’s third year cheering for wrestling, and she said she loves the sport because, “I love the community of wrestling cheer. I feel like I am part of the team.” To Kuonen, Athlete of the Month means a lot because she has always been committed to cheering.
She believes she has been honored because she has been involved in wrestling cheer since her freshman year.
In recognition of her achievements, Fareway has donated $100 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation.
