Holly Garcia, the chemistry teacher, has been awarded Teacher of the Month for November.

Garcia has been nominated by some students who feel comfortable and engaged in class.  She has been a teacher for 17 years and this is her second year teaching at ADM. When asked why she chose to be a chemistry teacher, Garcia said, “Chemistry is magical. I love sharing that magic with my students.” She comments that being awarded Teacher of the Month is a very sweet surprise and she is glad to know that students are not intimidated by chemistry.
