October’s girl’s cross country Athlete of the Month is Kealin Sutton. Kealin is the daughter of Amy and Dave Sutton and is a sophomore here at ADM. Kealin has been running cross country since 7th grade and loves the team atmosphere that the sport provides her with. She values the time she gets to spend with her friends as well as the mental and physical challenges that comes with running.

Being named Athlete of the Month is an honor Sutton says. She appreciates that her hard work and dedication to the sport is being recognized. When asked why she thinks she was named Athlete of the Month, Sutton said, that she has done the hard work and put in the effort to perform well as well as being a good role model to other athletes on the team.

In recognition of her achievements, the Rotary Club has donated $100 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation.
