October 2022 Volleyball Athlete of the Month is Madi James. James is the daughter of Pam and Todd James; she is a sophomore at ADM High School. James has been playing volleyball since she was in 8th grade. She loves the friendships she has built through volleyball and the competitiveness that comes along with the sport.

Being chosen as Athlete of the Month means a lot to her. It shows James that her team and coaches appreciate her effort and her kindness to everybody. James said she believes that she has been honored as Athlete of the Month because “throughout the whole season I have been a leader on the court” and because of her respect for her coaches, her teammates, and the opposing teams.

In recognition of her achievements, Adel Lion’s Club has donated $100 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation.
