Clayton Gustafson, son of Kristin and Brian Gustafson has been honored as the Student of the Month for April. Rocking a GPA of 3.0, Gustafson’s favorite high school classes have been calculus, AP Chemistry, and Intro to Engineering. He says that he enjoys those courses because they provide a fun challenge, and are a different program of study than most high school classes. Throughout high school, Gustafson has been involved in band, track, swimming, and jazz band. He has learned how to persevere, be a good leader, and learned the importance of hard work in all of these activities.
Gustafson has been known to volunteer at youth swimming events through the YMCA, and concession stands for youth sports events. For college, he plans to attend Drake University to major in Actuarial Science and Data Analytics with a minor in Music.
Gustafson says that in order to achieve success in life, you have to work hard for what you want. Finally, he feels truly honored to be celebrated as the Student of the Month.

In honor of his achievements, Raccoon Valley Bank has donated $100 to the ADM Scholarship Fund.
