Holly Mattes, daughter of Scott and Kim Mattes, has been honored as the Cross Country Student of the Month for October. Mattes is a senior this year and has been doing this sport since her sophomore year.

Mattes enjoys the “team aspect” of cross country, and also enjoys running, competing, and practicing as a group. Being an Athlete of the Month makes Mattes feel honored because she tries very hard to “be a leader” within her group, and really enjoys running.

In honor of her achievements, the Adel Rotary Club has donated $100 to the ADM Scholarship Fund.
