April Girls Golfer of the Month: Anna West

Anna West, grade 12, has been a golfer since before the beginning of her high school career. She believes that the her “team” is her most favorite part about Golf. “I just love the team aspect and I also like the fact that I’m competing against myself mentally more than I’m competing against the other team. I feel like it gives you good life skills!” said West.
Anna West, daughter of Jean and Chuck West is a Senior Golfer at ADM High School. West has been playing golf since the beginning of high school, she believes that being an Athlete of the Month is “an honor.” Being acknowledged as the Athlete of the Month shows that her hard work and dedication to the sport have paid off. She believes that she has been honored as the Athlete of the Month because “I work hard at practice.” Her favorite part of being in Golf is her “team.” Her team is like a “family” to her and she will “miss them” greatly when she graduates. West enjoys being a part of the sport because it challenges you to be better: “you are competing against yourself.”
For Anna’s outstanding achievements in golf, Azalea Lane Boutique is donating $100 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation.
