After an All-State award for Large Group, and 2 acts going to State in individuals, Bailey Christensen is nominated as March Fine Arts Student of the Month. Christensen said, “I’m happy to be chosen.”

Bailey Christensen is the daughter of Amanda Woodlund, and Bradley Christensen, and she is a junior at ADM. Christensen was nominated for Fine Arts Student of the Month for her participation in both Large group and individual Speech. She is also involved in FFA, 4-H, and dances as well. Christensen participated in large group and individual improv, and individual poetry.

When asked why others should join speech, Christensen said, “It is a great way to get used to public speaking, and it is really fun to perform especially in group improv because you get to create your own scenes.”

Christensen’s large group improv was chosen for All-State which is the highest award in Speech competitions, and both her individual performances went to the state level. Christensen said she thought she was chosen because she put in the work to be prepared, and was always willing to improve her skills as a performer. She was also “honored” to be chosen as Fine Arts Student of the Month.

For Christensen’s accomplishments Lincoln Savings Bank donated $100 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation.
