Teacher of the Month: Angie Gilliland

This month’s Teacher of the month is Angie Gilliland. Many of her nominations are anonymous, but she believes a few of her students in her Advisory class had nominated her during the voting process. This year is Ms. Gilliland’s 20th year teaching at ADM. She became a teacher because she enjoys working with kids and discovered it was a good fit for her. In my interview with Ms. Gilliland, I asked her what being Teacher of the month meant to her, and she said, “It means that people appreciate you for doing your best as a teacher, and it also makes me feel good that I am connecting with students in and out of the classroom.”
