Kristen Baier

Kristen Baier, Reporter

Hi guys! My name is Kristen Baier, I am a senior here at ADM and I have been going to ADM since I was in kindergarten.  I’m involved in quite a few things- I am the president of NHS, the reporter for FFA, I run Cross Country, Track, and I also play Basketball in the winter.  A couple things you should know about me are that I have my own pumpkin business, I knew that I wanted to be a writer because of a story that I wrote about a talking taco, and I love avocados.  In the future, I would like to go into English because I love to write, and photography because I am super passionate about photography! I love that I can capture beauty in something that others may not find beautiful, and in turn, hopefully I can help others be open to seeing the beauty all around them. I do not know where I want to go to college, but hopefully I will find that out this year!  My reason to be on the News Staff is because I want to extend my writing skills and push myself to find creative stories around me, and tell other people all about it. The other key component to journalism is the photography side of things, and I would love to photograph key moments in high school activities to share with others.  The reason that pushed me to be a reporter was that I wanted to explore what writing as a journalist looked like, and if I would like the work that a journalist would do as a potential career.
