Anna Kenny- January Girls Basketball Player of the Month

Anna Kenny is the January Girls Basketball Player of the Month. She is the daughter of Lynn and Mike Kenny. As a junior, she has continued to play basketball since she was nine years old or in third grade.

When asked about the sport she said, “I love the fast-paced game and team aspect.” Anna describes the girl’s basketball team as succeeding when everyone works together. During the season she explains that she stays, “humble on and off the court.”

She believes she has been nominated for January’s Girls Basketball Player of the Month due to her hard work and her ability to give it her all.

Basketball Player of the Month means to Anna that she, “plays for team stats to better the team as a unit and not just herself.”

In recognition of her achievements, The Rotary Club donated $100 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation.
