With Black Friday approaching this Friday, stores are starting to release their biggest deals of the year. As a teenage girl, I know that I use Black Friday to not only give my parents and loved ones gift ideas for the upcoming holidays, but also to purchase gifts for my friends and family. Here is my Black Friday watchlist as well as some deals that I am taking advantage of this holiday season.
Aerie: The best cute, comfortable, lounge-style clothing of all time.
Last year Aerie had some stellar deals. They had up to 40% off sitewide, BOGO pajama pants and even a free tote bag with a $65 or higher purchase. I am a HUGE Aerie enthusiast and own several pairs of their leggings, pajama pants, and sweatpants. They also have my all-time favorite sweatshirts. After looking at last year’s sale, I am certain that they will have some amazing bargains again this year. So far they have released their early access deals for AE members which includes 40% off all leggings and tops.
Here are my top items to watch from Aerie.

Waffle Oversized T-Shirt: The cutest oversized long-sleeve shirt made out of a thick waffled fabric. Perfect for fall and winter weather. Includes thumb holes for movement. Comes in 7 different colors.The Chill Crew Sweatshirt: A purposefully oversized sweatshirt that comes in 13 different colors in sizes XXS-XXL. This sweatshirt is so comfortable and a staple in my closet. It’s the perfect blend of comfortable and cute.Aerie Traveler Waffle Cargo Jogger: A textured yet extremely soft pant made out of a pajama-like fabric. Includes multiple pockets and comes in 6 colors. I own these pants in the lilac purple color and have gotten endless compliments on them.
Lululemon: My go-to store for high-end leggings, athletic tops, the best bags and more.
Lululemon is one of my favorite stores to purchase leggings from. They have the cutest colors, the best fabrics and an unbeatable lifetime warranty. They are however VERY pricey. This makes Lululemon’s Black Friday sale great to have on your radar as they are known to consistently mark their prices down by up to 70% for a 4-day sale. They have already released 37 items that are marked down by up to 40% including the famous align leggings and much more.
With that said here are my top items to add to your shopping list from Lululemon.
Align Leggings 28″: As mentioned above, SOME align leggings are already on sale, however, none of the Lululemon 28″ aligns have hit the markdown yet. These are my favorite leggings as a tall girl because they reach my ankles. They are also buttery soft and come in over 20 different colors.Swiftly Tech Long-Sleeve Race Length: A thin long-sleeve shirt perfect for any casual or sporty occasion. I love these shirts under a vest or just by themselves. The race length is the perfect length as in my opinion the full-length shirts are a little too long on my torso and need to be bunched up.The Belt Bag: This bag has been viral for the past few years, and for good reason. It is the perfect small yet spacious bag. It holds so much with its several pockets including a hidden pocket on the back. Currently sold in 10 colors in the standard size (1L), 4 colors in the mini and 8 colors in the large (2L).
Beauty Essentials: Makeup, perfume and hair products that make the best stocking stuffers and gifts.
These products come from a variety of stores and brands but have all been in my daily rotation at some point. These products make for the best small and easy gifts for those people in your life who you just don’t know what to get. I can tell you that these items will be used by any teenage girl and are my holy grails.
Sol de Janeiro Body Sprays: These are the perfect understated body spray for anyone. It comes in 6 different scents that all smell heavenly and are not too overpowering. Scents come in 2 sizes, 90ml & 240ml. Currently having up to 20% for Black Friday.Lip Butter Balm: The BEST lip balm on this planet. With 7 different “flavors” this slightly tinted balm is the perfect gift for anyone and a huge trend on social media. Summer Fridays is promoting a sale of 20% as well for this Friday.It’s a 10 Deep Conditioning Mask: My favorite haircare product to reset on wash day. This mask leaves my hair feeling strong, hydrated and healthy. Retails for $36, but appears on many sites such as Target. Keep an eye out for this product.
Nike & Gymshark: The best places to find all your athletic clothing essentials.
Both of these stores are known to have some of the highest quality and best-performing athletic clothing. I have purchased products from both of these brands and can confirm that they live up to the hype. Gymshark has had their Black Friday sale going for about a week now. They have all types of clothing items for up to 70% off. Nike has released their sale as well, which includes deals up to 60%. Both these sales are HUGE and will save you a lot of money.
Here are my top items to keep an eye out for this Friday.
Nike Phoenix Fleece High-Waisted Wide-Leg Sweatpants: I am a big fan of colorful comfortable sweatpants. These are the perfect combination of trendy, comfy and practical. These pants come in 8 different vibrant colors as well as 4 neutral colors.Gymsharks Adapt Animal Seamless Leggings: These are the best gym or lounge leggings. They are made of a thick ribbed material that doesn’t fall down, like some athletic leggings do. They come in so many fun prints and colors and are the perfect gift for any athletic girl.Nike Phoenix Fleece Hoodie: This is an intentionally oversized sweatshirt that is so thick and warm making it perfect for this upcoming winter. Coming in 13 different colors (on the Nike website) this hoodie is a perfect addition to your Christmas list.
Overall these are not the only great deals on the market, but are some that definitely made their way onto my holiday wishlist. Black Friday is known for having some of the hottest deals of the year and I hope that you take inspiration from this watchlist and enjoy your shopping.
