RSVP Attends School Board Meeting

On March 7, six ADM students attended the March School Board meeting to gain a better understanding of the way these meetings operate and what is discussed. They witnessed a financial presentation, active voting and visitor input.

“It was a good experience because we got to get RSVP’s name out there, and it was our first big time to make a presence,” said Chloe Spoonemore, a junior and active member of RSVP.

RSVP is centered around making ADM the best school and environment it can be. This can encompass many things, including respect among students, academic confidence and overall better high school experiences. They attended the March School Board meeting to learn more so they can better achieve these goals.

At this meeting, RSVP members observed and learned about things like the school budget, important issues they are discussing and updates of school activity developments. They learned a lot and plan to visit monthly school board meetings indefinitely.
