Devon Allbee was nominated for Octobers Teacher of the month by our students at ADM High School. She thinks she was chosen for Teacher Of The Month, because she has good connections with her students.

She has been a teacher for 5 years now, and all 5 years have been teaching at ADM High School. She teaches English one and two, as well as Contemporary Literature and, Creative Writing. She decided to be a Teacher because lots of people in her family are so it helped her decide that she also wanted to pursue that career. She has a very strong passion for reading, and sees the value in teaching literacy for students to succeed in the world.

Being Teacher Of The Month means a lot to Devon because, according to her, “it helps to know i’m making an impact.”
