Our January Basketball Player of the Month is Samuel Hlas, son of Jerry and Christina Hlas. Hlas is a Junior at ADM Highschool. And he’s been playing basketball since the 3rd grade.

Hlas said that his favorite part about basketball is the atmosphere and energy of a packed gym and being apart of the ambush nation. Hlas believes he’s been nominated for basketball player of the month because “I think I’m being recognized as basketball player of the month for working hard in practice every day and trying to be an encouraging teammate on and off the court.”

Because of Sam’s efforts, Patricks Restaurant is donating $100 to the ADM Scholarship Fund.
