- Plan study time – In order to have a good study session, planning time in the day to study is a great idea to be more successful. Avoid trying to study late at night, instead plan time right after school between 4 and 7 pm. To be even more productive, try getting up before school and studying.
- Write it down – Write down your study material instead of looking at a screen. If you write your information down, you are more likely to remember the material.
- Quiz yourself/study with friends – If you get bored of studying by yourself, call your friends to help you study, and quiz each other.
- Listen to calm music – when you are studying, avoid distracting music such as the songs you listen to the most in the day. Instead, try and listen to calm music such as classical genres or oldies. Music is good for helping your brain focus, especially if you pick the right music to listen to.
