There was high pressure on the court as the Boys Varsity Basketball team turns a 20 point game into a 2 point game. ¨I think everyone in the gym was excited. I could feel the energy.¨ Said Coach Aaron Mager in regards to the last few seconds of the game.

The warm-up shots were shot, the boys were ready to bring all they had to the court, and the student section screamed. This Friday the 13th was one for the books for the ADM Tigers, playing the Winterset Huskies again. In games past, the Tigers have beat the Huskies with a miracle three point shot at the buzzer, and everyone near the end had the same hope that the Tigers would once again triumph over the Huskies with another miracle shot. The crowd energy was chaotic, according to Senior Nate Conrad, “Chaos is the right word, a lot of people screaming, a lot of people arguing like both sides of the crowd, controversial calls, but there is nothing like high school sports.” The Tigers lost 69-71. You can watch the  Tigers play at Gilbert tomorrow, 12/14 with Jv at 1, Freshman at 2:15, and Varsity at 4:00 pm.
