A Run For Their Money

The ADM Cross Country team is reaching the end of the 2015 season, but the most exciting part is right around the corner.

While the JV team participated in their final meet, the Conference meet that took place on the 13th of October at Cedar Pointe Golf Course in Boone, the varsity harriers are just getting into the most competitive part of their season.

After the conference meet ADM’s varsity team begins the most important part of their season in cross country. They then face the state qualifier meet, then if their qualify, state.

ADM’s Head Coach David Zwank hopes, above all, to see his harriers run their hardest, to see them compete.

“When I go out and see someone compete, that’s when I feel most proud.” said Zwank.

State Qualifying meet takes place on the 27 of October at Glenwood Lake Park. The State meet will take place on the 31 of October at Lakeside Municipal Golf Course in Fort Dodge.

Our varsity harriers have trained all season for the last few weeks of October. These are the highest points of the varsity season. Be sure to attend and cheer them on!
