December Teacher of the Month: Sheri Storm

Sheri Storm was nominated as one of December’s Teachers of the Month.  She is a resource teacher here at ADM and has been for the past 12 years.

Mrs. Storm was nominated by Ellie Burdock, Hannah Tigges, Harrison James and Wyatt Furr.  Storm’s help and compassion has impacted each one of these lives and they wanted to show their appreciation back by nominating her for Teacher of the Month.

When Storm was asked when she knew she wanted to be a teacher, she told the story of when she was a student at Waukee High School and had some really great teachers.  Mrs. Storm’s teachers told her they saw a talent in her in which she could use to help lots of different kids.  Storm chose to work with resource students because it’s a job that she gets to come up with creative ways to help a variety of students.

Sheri Storm loves her job because there is never a dull moment with her students.  She loves being able to influence their motivation and behavior.

Mrs. Storm is honored to have four of her students take their time and write a sentimental note dedicated to her.
