Mary Lynn and Grace are already in the spirit and have decorated the ADM office tree.

  1. Decorate The Tree: It’s not Christmas without decorating the tree with your family and loved ones. Picking out a tree is one my favorite things to do during the holiday season. Drinking hot cocoa while hanging up ornaments gets everyone in the Christmas Spirit!
  2. Visit Jolly Holiday Lights: Jolly Holiday Lights is a drive-thru light display in Altoona, starting at 5:30 P.M. You will see beautiful lights to get you in the spirit.
  3. Ice Skating: You’re not doing winter right if you don’t go ice skating. No matter how cold it is or how much the skates hurt my feet, I still tell myself it’s a good idea to go ice skating. Brenton Skating Plaza is the best place for this.
  4. Watch It’s A Wonderful Life: The 1947 award-winning film is a Christmas time classic. If you’re lacking the Christmas spirit, you won’t be when you’re done watching this movie.
  5. Bake and Decorate Christmas Cookies: Who doesn’t love cookies? And decorating them makes them even yummier!
  6. Listen to or Sing to Christmas Carols: Nothing gets me more in the spirit than hearing Justin Bieber’s hit song “Mistletoe.”
  7. Drink Hot Cocoa by the Fire: Nothing makes me cheerier than cuddling up by the fire with hot cocoa in my hands.
  8. Write a letter to Santa: Whether you believe in him or not, it is always still fun to write out what you wish to get for Christmas.
  9. Build a Snowman: No matter how old you are you can never get tired of building a snowman!
  10. Buy Gifts for Your Loved Ones: As much as we like receiving gifts on Christmas Day, there is no better feeling than finding that perfect gift for someone you care about and seeing their face light up as they open it.
