Peer Helpers, the mystery club, looks to be replaced by a Tiger Ambassador program.

To help new students transition to ADM High School, a student ambassador program may start next year.

Previously, a club called Peer Helpers was available to show new students of ADM around during orientation. The program has not been active for years and most of ADM’s staff and students are unaware of the club.

Counselor Kelly Delagardelle was tasked to come up with a  solution and is in the process of starting a Tiger Ambassador  program.

The Ambassador program will be comprised of next year’s juniors and seniors and the interview process begins next semester if everything goes to plan.

Delagardelle hopes to create leaders through this program and have Tiger Ambassadors serve as representatives of ADM at a higher level.

Ambassadors will take on roles such as working with the freshmen to get them acclimated, show teams to their locker rooms, help new students feel welcome, and get speakers and other guests setup.

The program is still being developed by Delagardelle and should be finalized before the end of the year.
