Matthew West has been nominated for Football Player of the Week for September 29th’s game against the Denison Monarchs. West is currently a senior and is the son of Jean and Chuck West.

Matthew has been playing football since third grade. He joined Falcon football because he wanted to share the connection of the sport with his brother and father.

When reflecting back on his football career, Matthew loves the team aspect because everyone is close to one another. “I love the positivity with this team, with my brothers,” he said.

West thinks he has been honored with this title due to his dedication and ability to work hard. During practices he tries to always make the team better.

Finally West states, “I thank God for being able to play this sport and be with this team.”

In recognition of Matthew’s achievements, Fuller Standard Service Inc. has donated $50 to the ADM Scholarships Foundation.
