Nick Dufoe is one of two Kiwanis students of the month. Nick is the son of Greg and Laurie Dufoe. Nick was awarded this honor based on his 3.5 GPA, good character, and involvement.

Nicks favorite classes include American Lit., Environmental Science, and Advanced Math. Nick plans to major in Environmental Science and minor in Environmental Policies.

Nick is also involved in baseball, basketball, and AcDec. All of these activities have taught him how to stay involved and be part of a team.

Nicks advice for  other students is, “Stay committed to what you do, put in the effort and it will come back to you.”

Nick believes he has been honored because he is committed to academics and sports, while also being involved in the community.

Kiwanis of Adel donated $50 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation in recognition of his efforts.
