Alyssa Pingel is chosen as the September Fine Arts Student of the Month

Alyssa Pingel is one of the Fine Arts Students of the Month for September. She is the daughter of Randy and Monica Pingel. In Alyssa’s four years of high school she has participated in softball, speech, band, and is a member of NHS.

Alyssa says, “Softball taught me teamwork and dedication.” It is her favorite sport and she plans to play all four years of high school.

In band Alyssa has played flute and is now one of the drum majors. She says band is a chance to learn to work as a team, have leadership roles, and is a positive atmosphere. She says other students should choose to join band also.

“Band is life,” Alyssa said. “I love it very much and am proud I was chosen.”

Alyssa believes she has shown leadership and has been a role model for the underclassmen that participate in band.

In recognition of her achievements, Raccoon Valley Bank has donated $100 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation.
