Fall Blood Drive Exceeds Donation Goal
Friday, November 4, ADM School’s National Honor Society (NHS) held their fall blood drive with a goal of donating 110 units of blood.
Donations started at 8:30 a.m., which was when high school students, 16 or older, came to donate, along with people in the community and school staff. All donations ended around 2:30 in the afternoon and that is when NHS found out if they met their goal.
This fall blood drive, ADM had 104 registered people to donate and 92 were able to donate. Overall, 117 units of blood were collected, exceeding the goal by seven units. ADM had 42 first time donors and 351 lives were saved because of the collections from ADM high school and the community.
