ADM Election Day: We Rock The Vote

Voting Poll

Here at ADM many of the student body gathers around for a little school voting. It’s neat seeing who the students believe would be a good President. Politics have played a huge role in many students’ conversations over the past few weeks and it’s interesting that some are so intrigued about what’s going on around them.

The polls have been up all day and Donald Trump has been leading a blowout since the first vote. All of the high schoolers have been really chatty about it and even the middle school got in on the election activities.

A few students volunteered to help run the show and made sure we didn’t have any voting fraud. As we walked into the school, students checked in at a desk then proceeded to vote on the MacBooks.

For the Presidential vote the options were Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, Gary Johnson, Jill Stein.

Afterward, we voted for the Iowa Senator: Chuck Grassley or Patty Judge.

Then, to conclude we voted for the State Representative: Ralph Watts or Bryce Smith.

After we voted the students took a quick exit survey to follow up with a little more information on their decision and received an “I Voted” sticker.

Trump won the student Presidential vote overall, but the ADM students won the day by freely expressing themselves.
