Noelle McDonald is a junior daughter of parents Tim and Danielle McDonald. McDonald is being honored for her backstage work for the spring play, “Shakespeare Interrupted.” Along with her work in the theater, McDonald is involved in the speech team’s radio news.
Her role in the theater is the head of the costume crew. McDonald said that Reyna Shirley Brown and Mrs. Longman encouraged her to move into this position. From her role in the costume crew, McDonald says that she “learned how to stay organized.”
McDonald says that people should join theater due to the “very encouraging and welcoming space.” For incoming freshmen, she encourages them to join theater because of the caring people.
Mcdonald says that it “feels great” to be honored as Fine Arts Student of the Month.
When asked, McDonald says that she feels she has been honored because she “dedicates lots of time and works hard.”
In honor of her accomplishments, Lincoln Savings Bank has donated $100 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation.
