The February 2024 Kiwanis Humanitarian Student of the Month is senior Peyton Meier. Meier is the son of Kevin and Dana Meier and currently holds a 4.01 GPA. Meier plans to attend Wartburg College to major in business.

When asked about his favorite classes, Meier said he enjoys Financial Literacy for the benefits it will give him later in life. He also likes Sports Entertainment Marketing because it applies to what his major will be in college. During his time at ADM, he has been involved in multiple activities, including FCA, Forever Strong, and Soccer. In these activities, he says he has learned a lot about leadership, teamwork, and having a good support system.

Meier says his advice for others trying to succeed is “Don’t procrastinate and balance your work and fun.” Meier feels like serving his community and working hard in his academics is why he has been honored with this award.

In recognition of his achievements, the Kiwanis of Adel have donated $50 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation.
