Hanna Grossman is the December Kiwanis Humanitarian Student of the Month. Hanna is the daughter of Mike and Kathy Grossman. Grossman has involved herself in various activities throughout her time at ADM High School. She has participated in softball and volleyball. Outside of sports and the classroom, Grossman has involved herself in the prom committee, speech, SIACC, and the humanitarian cord program. She is also a student council president and secretary for the National Honors Society. One of the things Grossman spends her time on is volunteering one-on-one with kids at Meadowview Elementary. When Grossman was asked what her top three high school courses were, she said, “Geometry, leadership, and business. I liked the variety of classes I was allowed to take while in high school because it helped me find my interests for the future.” Grossman has a 4.0 GPA and plans to attend the University of Iowa to study, healthcare administration. When Grossman was asked what being named Kiwanis Student of the Month means to her she said, “People see the work I have done outside of school and in the community while being involved in a variety of activities.”
In honor of Hanna’s achievements Kiwanis of Adel has donated $50 to the ADM scholarship foundation.
