Are you looking for a quick, easy read? Try The Cellar by New York Times bestselling author Natasha Preston. The Cellar is likely to keep you turning pages in suspense.

The Cellar is a story about the kidnapping of Summer Robinson. Sixteen-year-old Summer was taken right off the street in a town where nothing ever happens. After spending months with her abductor, Colin, and the other girls he has kidnapped, Summer comes to understand that Colin looks at the girls as his family. Colin gives each girl a “new beginning” in his eyes. He gives them a new name, one resembling a flower, to give them a fresh start and a chance to forget their past and be a part of his family. But Summer refuses to forget, she clings to her identity and past while hoping that someone will find her. And in the meantime, she’ll do anything she can to survive and find a way out.

The Cellar is recommended for ages 14-17. You can find this book and other books by Natasha Preston at your local library, online websites such as Amazon, or anywhere you normally get your books.
