Kaylin Dains is the daughter of Brad and Shelby Dains. She has been awarded November’s Kiwanis Humanitarian Student of the Month. Dains is a senior at ADM High School and has an unweighted GPA of 4.0. Some of her favorite classes in school are band, math, and her journalism class. Dains is also very involved in her community and volunteers in many organizations. Her favorite place to volunteer is the local A-Hinez Shelter or Camp Invention.
To her, being the Kiwanis Humanitarian Student of the Month is a honor. She believes that completing her Silver Cord hours early helped her achieve this award. Her advice to fellow students is to “focus on what you do know on tests, it makes it easier” and also “take on leadership activities when you are older.”
In honor of her achievements, Adel’s Kiwanis Club donated $50 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation.
