7 Brew vs Hyper Review

7 Brew vs Hyper Review

Alexa and I went to two popular beverage places and gave our opinions on which one is the best. We visited Hyper and the new shop in Clive, 7 Brew.

Hyper opened its location two years ago in Waukee, IA and has been a big sensation ever since. They provide healthy, energy drinks in all sorts of flavors. The most popular choices are Pink Power, Triple Threat and Cosmic Lightening. Hyper has became a popular drink of choice because of the flavor combinations, the energy it provides, and the very welcoming and friendly staff.

7 Brew is a new energy bar that just opened their location in Clive in August 2023. They offer energy drinks as well ranging from, Blue Raspberry, Green Apple and Kiwi plus many other syrups of choice. They offer shakes, smoothies, teas, coffee and more. 7 Brew is slowly gaining popularity in Clive as more people are trying their amazing products.  They have held some fun events to kick off their opening, like Swag Day, where people got free drinks and shirts, as well as Hero day where they donated to a food bank.

Kate and I first went to Hyper and got the Cosmic Lightening and then went to 7 Brew and got the ¨Seven Energy¨ in the flavor strawberry and mango. We filmed our live reaction to trying both the drinks, so we could give our real and honest opinion since we have never had the Cosmic Lightening from Hyper or 7 Brews energy drink.

Our honest review on 7 Brew:

ALEXA: 7 Brew in Waukee had amazing service, it was quick and straight to the point but still has great customer service. The drink price wasn’t too expensive, $6 isn’t terrible for a medium sized energy drink, however hyper was cheaper which honestly surprised me. I’m not sure if our request for 2 syrups caused the flavor to be very strong, but the presence of 2 syrups was very sweet. At first it was hard to drink more than sips at a time, but the more you got used to it the better it tasted. It was a great combination of mango and strawberry, one didn’t over power the other.

KATE:I would give 7 Brew a strong 6/10 The staff were very nice, welcoming and easy to talk to which is always a bonus, especially when you have never been there before. They were also very fast with our drinks. I would say the drink itself was very good, you can taste the flavors very strongly which was a good thing but also a bad thing because it came off very strong and sugary. Because of that it honestly gave me a headache and made me feel a little sick. Overall I think it is a really good energy bar and would recommend it to people, because everyone’s taste is different.

Our overall thoughts would be sticking to Hyper because of the low prices, and we thought the taste was better, it didn’t taste as sugary when your drinking it, it is almost ¨healthy¨ for you.

Go enjoy 7 Brew located in Clive and support their business. Try the ¨This months hot picks¨ drinks like the Pumpkin Blondie, Pumpkin Shake, and the Pumpkin Chai Latte. They have all sorts of flavors of syrups to choose from and we definitely recommend trying it.
